International event of Capoeira Angola on island Lošinj!
Afro-Brasilian beat in the heart of Mediterranean sea ... This year the event will be held in Croatia on our Island of Losinj and organised by croatian branch of the “Marrom capoeira e alunos” Association – “Capoeira Camarada”.
The event will take place between 1st and 5th of July and gather approximately 120 capoeristas from Brasil and Europe with the aim of knowledge and skill sharing.
There is a possibility of accommodation in facilities of bigger comfort such as rooms, hostels, apartments and hotels.

Accommodation in camp is organised by Croatian Capoeira Camarada.
Below is the brief overview of the proposed activities:
Workshops
Workshops will be held every day and will be open for public. Participants will have oportunity to study and practise traditional Brasilian folclore: Capoeira Angola, Tambour de Crioula, Coco de Roda, Maculele, Forro...
As well as corporal expressions there will be workshops of traditional rhythms on autochthonous instruments.
Performances and concerts
Every day of the event, there will be live performances of Capoeira Angola and concerts of bands that play traditional music on autochthonous instruments.
Lectures
“Marine education centre”, will hold lectures about their programs, projects and protected sea zone arround Cres and Losinj that is home of wild dolphins.
Touristic association will hold lecture about natural, cultural and historical sights.
“DYALLI” (association that promotes African culture in Croatia) will hold lecture about traditional african music and autochthonous instruments.
"Marrom capoeira e alunos" Association is an internationally registered and recognized body of professors specialized in physical education of children and adults. Their staff, along with being Capoeira Masters, are professionals in pedagogy, medicine, physiotherapy, psychology, music and art.Their aim is to promote the importance of intercultural links, mutual acknowlegment and respect and the importance of healthy living both in body and mind. They have over 20 years of experience working across a range of educational facilities.
In Croatia, ”Marrom capoeira e alunos” Association functions and operates through its branch, ”Capoeira Camarada” Association which was created under supervision of Mestre Marrom.
